5 High-Energy Songs for Your Last Dance

Every song played at your wedding should be meaningful. It should speak about the two of you as individuals and as a couple as well. It should be all about your love story and the hopes you share for your future together.
Sure, picking a beautiful song for your First Dance is essential – but have you thought about the song you will play at your Last Dance too? If not, here are some suggestions to inspire you:

• Diana Ross and The Supremes – Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Indeed, there’s no mountain high enough for true love – and as a couple about to commit to each other for the rest of your lives, you know this better than anyone!

• Prince – Kiss. Looking for a really romantic song for your Last Dance, but want to be sure it has a perfectly upbeat vibe to it as well? Prince’s Kiss can really do this for you!

• The Rembrandts’ I’ll Be There for You. The anthem of one of the most popular shows of all time, I’ll Be There for You is ideal for a wide range of couples: from those who are big fans of Friends, to those who really believe in commitment, friendship and love.

• Tonny Bennett – The Best Is Yet to Come. Yes, you surely have amazing hopes for your future as a married couple. And this song is perfect to end the night on a high-hope feeling!

• Alanis Morisette – Thank You. A high-energy song with a mellow and romantic “undertone” to it, this option is really amazing if you want to make for a truly unforgettable Last Dance. Give it a listen and you will surely fall in love with it!

Top Song Choices for Mother-Son Dance

Your wedding is going to be a truly emotional moment – not only for you as the couple tying the knot, but for all those you have invited with you as well. Of course, your parents will be among the most nervous and sentimental guests – after all, their children are getting married and this is a huge moment for the “adults” as well!

If you want to surprise the mother-of-the-groom with a very special moment, organizing a mother-son dance will be more than worth it. But what are some of the best songs to choose for the mother-son dance? Read on and inspire yourself:

• Stevie Wonder’s You’re The Sunshine of My Life. It doesn’t matter how old you get – for your mother, you will always be the sunshine of her life. You will always be the little miracle that gave her life an entirely different meaning – and she deserves this sentimental moment, on the lyrics of this beautiful song!

• Ben E. King’s Stand by Me. Sure, this song can be interpreted in a romantic way – but, if you listen closely, it can also be a song about all the people whom you love. About the people you will never leave, regardless of how far you may be physically located from them.

• Molly Pasutti’s The Man You’ve Become. The groom has grown up wonderfully – and his mother had a crucial role to play in this. She is surely proud of her little baby boy and of how handsome he looks on his wedding day! This song is for all those mothers who take genuine pride in the men they’ve raised!
