Don't Make These Wedding Planning Mistakes
Planning a wedding is a big task! Floral arrangements, a delicious menu, festive entertainment; so many details will come together to create your big day.
With so much to do and so little time, it’s all too easy to become overwhelmed when creating your nuptials. Therefore, you could potentially make some mistakes!
However, if you are aware of some mistakes you should avoid making beforehand, you can go about planning your wedding with ease! That’s why, here at DJ Brock & Steele Weddings, as Lake Tahoe wedding DJs, we have gathered some helpful insight for you. Be sure to continue reading to learn more:
- Avoid Getting a Late Start. Planning a wedding takes time! It certainly isn’t a celebration that you will want to throw together overnight. Therefore, you will want to begin planning your big day about a year in advance. This way, you will have more venue and vendor options to choose from, along with time to have alterations completed on your dress.
- Avoid Changes in Weight. Your wedding dress is a big part of your big day! So, you will certainly want to ensure that it fits to perfection as you make your way down the aisle. Once you purchase yours, and begin alterations, you won’t want to have any significant changes in weight, as your gown will be created in your current size, and altered to you.
- Avoid Appearing Demanding. You have most likely created a gift registry for your wedding, so that guests can congratulate you on your nuptials. However, you won’t want to appear as though you are asking for gifts, but rather promoting it as a gesture. Therefore, it would be best to not present your gift registry information directly among your invitations, but rather as its own insert.
Planning your wedding should be an enjoyable experience! If you avoid making these mistakes, you can go about planning your big day with ease.
